According to IRC:15-2011, Minimum cement content for 4.5 N/mm^2 characteristic flexural strength for OPC + fly ash mix OPC shall ____________

(a) Shall not be less than 360 kg/m^3

(b) Shall not be less than 425 kg/m^3

(c) Shall not be less than 340 kg/m^3

(d) Shall not be less than 500 kg/m^3

The question was posed to me by my college professor while I was bunking the class.

My question is from Road Method of Mix Design in portion Concrete Mix Design of Concrete Technology

The best explanation: According to IRC:15-2011, Minimum cement content for 4.5 N/mm^2 characteristic flexural strength for OPC + fly ash mix OPC shall not be less than 340 kg/m^3 and for opc it  shouldn’t be less than 360 kg/m^3.
