I had been asked this question in final exam.

My query is from Materials used for Flooring topic in portion Floors and Flooring of Construction & Building Materials

Correct answer is (b) Plastic

For explanation I would say: The PVC tile flooring is resilient, smooth and good looking. It can be easily clean. It is however costly and can be easily damaged when it comes in contact with burning objects. The PVC tiles are usually not laid on the wooden floor as the cost of preparing the surface to receive these types are considerably high.
