The correct answer is (a) Mud

Easy explanation: The moist selected Earth is evenly spread out and it is rammed well so as to get a consolidated thickness of about 150 mm. The water is not added during the process of ramming and small quantity of straw may be added to the moist earth before Ramming to avoid the formation of cracks on drying.
