What is the assumption made in the calculation of the specific permeance?

(a) voltage is kept constant

(c) mmf is kept constant

I have been asked this question in an interview for job.

The doubt is from Specific Permeance & Calculation of Magnetizing Current topic in section Principles of Magnetic Circuit Design of Design of Electrical Machines

Right option is (c) mmf is kept constant

The explanation: The mmf is kept constant over all the flux tubes. The mmf should be kept constant when the integration is carried out during the calculation of specific permeance.
