I have been asked this question during an interview for a job.

My question is taken from Memory and Peripherals of Embedded System topic in section Embedded System of Embedded Systems

The correct choice is (b) Sensors

The explanation is: Sensors measures the physical quantity and convert it into electrical means whereas actuators convert electrical quantity into physical quantity.
