Under which compound name does the liquid petroleum gas (LPG) are sold?

(a) Urea

(b) Ethylene

(c) Benzoyl peroxide

(d) Butane

This question was addressed to me during an interview for a job.

Right option is (d) Butane

For explanation I would say: Propane and butane are present in the largest amounts in LPG. Small quantities of ethane, pentane, ethylene and pentene are also present. Under trade names it is represented as HP, Bharat gas and Indian gas in India.
