The correct choice is (a) Convenient to read dimensions from the bottom edge

The explanation is: Unidirectional system of dimensioning is used for large drawings.  So the dimensions are placed by breaking the dimension line near the middle. Also, all dimensions are so placed that they can be read from the bottom edge.
