I got this question in unit test.

Right option is (c) Placed by breaking the dimension line in the middle

Easiest explanation: In unidirectional system all dimensions are placed such that they can be read from the bottom of the drawing sheet. The dimension lines are broken near the middle for inserting the dimensions. This is used in mainly large drawings.
