The correct option is (a) Cooling towers

Best explanation: Cooling towers, water channels use Hyperbolic curves as their design. Arches, Bridges, sound reflectors, light reflectors etc use parabolic curves. Arches, bridges, dams, monuments, man-holes, glands and stuffing boxes etc use elliptical curves.
