A sphere is cut by plane which is perpendicular to V.P and inclined to H.P the top view and front view of minor part will be _________

I got this question during a job interview.

I want to ask this question from Sections of Spheres topic in chapter Section of Solids of Engineering Drawing

Right option is (c) ellipse, segment

The best explanation: When a sphere is cut by a plane, the true shape of the section is always a circle. But here asked are views so it will be lines or ellipse according to section plane and also here asked views for minor part so segment will be front view in this condition.
