A sphere is cut by a plane which is inclined to both reference planes the top view and front view of section will be ____________

The question was posed to me in my homework.

Correct answer is (d) ellipse, ellipse

The best I can explain: When a sphere is cut by a plane, the true shape of the section is always a circle. But here it is asked view so they will be definitely ellipse since the section plane is inclined to both the reference planes.
