Which of the following is not an example of a commodity thermoplastic?

(a) Polyethylene

(b) Polypropylene

(d) Phenolic

I had been asked this question by my school principal while I was bunking the class.

Right choice is (d) Phenolic

To explain: Commodity thermoplastics are the most widely used plastics and are available at a lower cost. Phenolic is an example of thermosetting commodity plastic. The remaining choices, along with PVC, are examples of commodity thermoplastics.
