Right answer is (b) Metallic

Easy explanation: In both Electroless deposition (absence of external electric field) and Cathodic deposition (presence of external electric field) the disadvantage is that their use is limited mainly to the deposition of metallic films on to that substrates that are electronically conducting i.e. metals.
