I got this question in semester exam.

My doubt is from Programmable Interval Timer 8254 in portion Special Purpose Programmable Peripheral devices and their Interfacing of Microprocessor

Correct answer is (b) hexadecimal count

Easiest explanation: If BCD=0 then hexadecimal count. If BCD=1, then the operation is BCD count.
