This question was addressed to me in exam.

My question is based upon Interfacing Digital to Analog Converters, Stepper Motor Interfacing and Control of High Power Devices Using 8255 in division Basic Peripherals and their Interfacing with 8086/88 of Microprocessor

Correct option is (c) wave scheme

To elaborate: In this scheme, the windings are applied with the required voltage pulses, in a cyclic fashion.
