What are the two types of Fourier series?

(a) Trigonometric and exponential

(b) Trigonometric and logarithmic

(c) Exponential and logarithmic

(d) Trigonometric only

This question was addressed to me in an interview for job.

The doubt is from Fourier Series in chapter Fourier Series of Signals and Systems

Right answer is (a) Trigonometric and exponential

Explanation: The two types of Fourier series are- Trigonometric and exponential. The exponential is more convenient for  Fourier series calculations.
