Is the battery voltage dependent on charge?

(a) Yes

(b) No

(c) It can be modelled

(d) It cannot be modelled

I have been asked this question by my college professor while I was bunking the class.

This question is from Simulation topic in chapter SIMULINK and GUIs of MATLAB

The correct answer is (c) It can be modelled

Easiest explanation: We can set the charge content of the battery and thereby make the voltage coming from it as a charge dependent voltage source which is quite nice for real time simulation.
