When is the instance created, which plug-in API function is called?

(a) NPP_Destroy

(b) NPP_New

(c) NP_Shutdown

(d) NP_Initialize

The question was posed to me by my college director while I was bunking the class.

Question is from HTML Plugins topic in division Advance HTML of HTML

The correct choice is (b) NPP_New

For explanation I would say: NPP_New function is called by the browser when an instance is created. There can exist multiple instances of the same plug-in. There are two conditions for it first if there are multiple embedded objects on a single page, second if several browser windows are open.
