(b) NP_Initialize

(d) NP_Shutdown

I have been asked this question in exam.

My question comes from HTML Plugins in section Advance HTML of HTML

Correct choice is (d) NP_Shutdown

Easy explanation: When the last instance of a plug-in is deleted Gecko calls the function NP_Shutdown. The plug-in code is unloaded from memory. Plug-ins consume no resources when not loaded, it only consumes a little disk space.
