What is the process used to recover the metal from its soluble complex obtained after leaching?

(b) Reduction

The question was posed to me during an online exam.

My doubt is from Oxidation Reduction topic in chapter General Principles and Processes of Isolation of Elements of Chemistry – Class 12

The correct option is (b) Reduction

To explain: Silver and gold form their respective complexes with CN^– ions during leaching process. The metals are then obtained from these complexes by reduction or displacement method using a more electropositive metal.
