Explanation: Leprosy was first discovered by Hansen and that’s why it is commonly known as Hansen’s disease. Karl Joseph Eberth was the first person to discover typhoid, Robert Koch was the first person to discover tuberculosis and Dr Jay Levy’s group played an important role in the discovery of HIV.
