Right choice is (a) Alcohol

The best I can explain: Alcohol or ethyl alcohol is the most commonly consumed and abused intoxicant. It is obtained through fermentation of various food articles and some fungi. Addiction to alcohol is called alcoholism or alcohol dependence.
