When two integers are added the sum is -52. If the integers are in the ratio 6:7, then find the integers.

Correct choice is (c) -24 and -28

The explanation is: Let the common multiple be x. We know that the integers sum up to -52.

6x + 7x = -52

∴ 13x = -52

∴ x = -4

Since, x = -4 the integers are -24 and -28.
