A boy has all five rupees coins and he need to pay one hundred and thirty five rupees to a shopkeeper for his grocery. How coins does he need to pay the total amount?

Right answer is (a) 27

The best I can explain: The total amount to be paid is 135 rupees.

The boy has only 5 rupee coins. Let the number of coins required be x.

∴ \(\frac{135}{5}\)=x

∴ 27=x

∴ the boy requires 27 coins in order to pay his billed amount.
