Which one of the following circuits could not demodulate SSB?

(a) Phase Shift Method

(b) Filter Method

(c) Weaver Demodulator

(d) Phase discriminator

I have been asked this question in an interview for internship.

This is a very interesting question from Noise for AM Wave topic in division Noise of Analog Communications

Right answer is (d) Phase discriminator

For explanation I would say: Phase discriminator cannot be used to demodulate SSB. It is used to discriminate between different phases.
