In drosophila male there is no cross over suppression due to pericentric inversion as___________

This question was posed to me by my college director while I was bunking the class.

Correct option is (c) They never recombine

To explain: Drosophila males don’t recombine due to the absence of synaptonemal complex formation. Thus there is no question of recombination for it to be suppressed.
