I got this question by my college director while I was bunking the class.

This interesting question is from Nuclear Export in division Nuclear Export & Post Mendelian Genetics of Cytogenetics

Right answer is (b) NLS

To explain I would say: The importins are mainly needed for proteins that are greater than 45KDa so that they can’t diffuse randomly. They must have a nuclear localization signal which is a repeat of lysine rich sequences.
