My question is taken from Calorific Value topic in section Fuels and Combustion of Engineering Chemistry II

Correct choice is (a) True

The best explanation: Since the total heat produced by the fuel is liberated over the entire area of the burning mass and the larger the area of flame the lesser is the concentration of heat.
