I got this question in an interview for job.

I need to ask this question from Projection of Spheres in section Projection of Solids of Engineering Drawing

The correct choice is (a) semi circle

Easiest explanation: Hemisphere is solid formed by cutting the sphere at its middle. The flat surface of hemisphere will have section of circle with radius equal to radius of sphere. Here the hemisphere is placed on H.P on its flat surface so it gives semi circle from front view.
