The correct answer is (c) ellipse

Easy explanation: The flat surface of hemisphere will have section of circle with radius equal to radius of sphere. Here the hemisphere is placed on H.P so that its flat surface is inclined to H.P so it gives semi circle from front view and ellipse from top view.
