For explanation: A typical collagen is long, stiff, inelastic and triple-stranded helical structure and is made up of tropocollagen. Tropocollagen consists of 3-coiled α chains. While hydroxylysine, hydroxyproline, and glycine are the amino acid sequence of tropocollagen.
